CPU - Referred to as the Central Processing Unit, also called a central processor or main processor and is the electronic circuitry (computer chip) within every computer. The CPU is considered as the brain for electronic devices. They execute instructions that make up a computer program. The CPU performs basic arithmetic, logic, controlling, and input/output (I/O) operations specified by the instructions.
